Make way for the robot overlords! Bow before Zod!
Every so often you need to exercise, read, walk, smell the roses, and laugh.If that link wasn't enough to get a rueful grin, try kneeling before Zod.

The writers strike is showing signs of spreading to the CBS news writers. I keep wondering what the talking heads there will say without writers putting words in their mouths - that should be interesting - or rather, dull.
I am kind of missing the Daily Show. Ah, well, it's a nice day. I think I'll go to the beach with my guitar and learn how to play American Pie, and get some sun.

What I am finding interesting, Mike, is that Neiwert keeps making statements about how Pat Buchanan intentionally served to drive the racialists from the Reform Party into the willing arms of Bush in 2000 by picking a black woman as runing mate.
He's a lot like the 9/11 Truthers that he constantly decries. He installs just enough truth into a story to give it some semblance of credibility and then intersperses it with unproven and sometimes unprovable assumptions.
I find someone who believes that Pat Buchanan is an extremist in the same ilk as Stormfront to be so politically blind as to self-eliminate as a source of political information. Too far from the real world.
As far as the photos in his Nov. 14th post go, I was standing next to the head of the Palestinian Student Organization this lunch hour at an anti-Musharrif rally talking to him about my upcoming book. (He's a former student of mine.)
We were photographed together at the edge of the demonstration by someone with a good-looking camera.
From that photo alone, it is completely impossible to tell whether or not I am associated with any of the organizations involved or support any of their ideals. About all you can tell is that I was smiling at my former student.
I'm not a really paranoid person, or I'd have become an expatriate back during Vietnam. However, I definitely think that Dr. Paul has reached Gandhi's Third Stage, considering the attacks from both the Conservatives and Liberals that are being heaped on his campaign volunteers.
The FBI and Secret Service also wiped out the Liberty Dollar folks today, confiscating the entirety of the Gold-Bugs' silver (alternative) $20 pieces. An interesting side note was that they had just minted an entire set of $2 Ron Paul coins of which I would have loved to have bought a couple.
I understand that money's been imaginary since the 1960s, but it's pretty wild how far the FedGov'll go to keep the populace dreaming.
