  Fox news modifying the people meter on Ron Paul

I was enjoying watching today's fox news's debate people meter when...

Just as Ron Paul began to speak, a window appeared on the screen, and somehow, someone, made some changes to how the data was being displayed.

I hurredly took a few screen shots, but what actually was going on I can't tell.

Ron Paul's comments then ranked below the 50% line for the duration of what he had to say. What he had to say probably wasn't very popular but the duration and volume of the applause after he spoke seemed in line with most of what I'd heard today. WTF did fox news do? Does anyone have a higher quality feed or capture of what happened?

At no other time in the debate did such a window appear. There was an XP window on the screen for the first set of advertisements (about cialis) , which I found amusing, but...

WTF? Jeeze, fox, do you want to pander to the conspiracy theorists? And I sure wish you'd ask the questions I want answered.

This didn't happen to me during the debate, but was shown afterwards, as a demonstration in a side room of Hannity's show. Some guy showed it off like it was an "amazing" technological advancement. It was like watching a game of Pong. He showed clips from various candidates, and the scrolling line went up and down from data that the audience was inputting from hand held devices. Guiliani was "off the charts" when he spoke about Hillary. Amazing! Wow! Look at the line going up and down! Fox must think it's own audience is a bunch of retards on drugs. And the wrap up interview with Ron Paul and Sean Hannity had to be one of the best poste debate pieces ever.

Well, I would have liked to have seen the wrap-up with Paul but my video stream cut out shortly after Fred. Hopefully an extract will be on youtube shortly.

Jeeze... with Paul winning by gaining 32% of the text messaging vote!?

The guy on the left of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gsXLf_w_0fs annoys me. He obviously believes in "My Party, right or wrong", and the Paul is wrong to consistently stand for his principles. I admire the hell out of him for that and hope he stays in congress after losing the primaries to keep fighting the good fight.

I really would like a poll taken of republican supporters - with 2 simple questions:

Who do you support?

And: Do you know how to send a text message from your cellphone.

That one statistic would be darn revealing, I'd hope.
