  Not quite yet abandoning x86_64

I was up late writing a long rant, about all the things that drove me crazy about x86_64 architecture, and Linux, after 3 long years spent with it. I was at the point where I had put a new hard disk in my dual opteron, had a download of the FC6-i386 dvd going, and the rant was pushing three pages of incoherent sputtering rage...

Just as I dropped off to sleep, the burned dvd popped out of the drive, and I swore, first thing this morning, I'd shoot the old OS in the head.

This morning, Studio64 shipped the 1.0 release of their x86_64 specific audio distribution, and I decided to at least try that, instead.

If I can't make it work well in a day, I'm going back to good ole x86.
